Whitetail Club is backed by an impressive leadership team founded on a commitment to uphold the heritage of the McCall region.

President & General Manager: Tom Garcia

As President and General Manager of Whitetail Club, Tom E. Garcia provides top-level management and oversight of the club’s general operations, programming, sales strategy, and member guest experience. His innate passion and extensive background in hospitality continue to elevate Whitetail Club as one of the Top 150 Country Clubs by Platinum Clubs of America.

As a trusted leader in the hotel, resort, and private club sectors, Tom’s dynamic leadership has been instrumental in driving membership growth, fulfilling the club’s long-term objectives, and managing financial plans for on-site renovations. His exceptional stewardship and forward-thinking insights have been featured across publications like Mansion Global, Wall Street Journal, MountainLiving.com, and Idaho Business Review.

Prior to joining Whitetail Club, Tom held executive positions in regional capacities with both Benchmark Hospitality International and Noble House Hotels and Resorts. His work was conducive to creating cultures that influenced lifestyle programming while maintaining a strong acumen for financial management oversight. At Benchmark Hospitality, he was also responsible for overseeing the entire Food & Beverage division of the brand, leveraging its status to expand the portfolio of managed assets.

Tom E. Garcia

Throughout his career, Garcia has served on the board of directors for multiple hospitality and visitor bureaus and associations while participating in various community charitable events. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Management Information Systems from California State University Hayward. Tom enjoys the seasonality of mountain living with his wife, Michelle, and participating in various outdoor activities during his free time.

Jocelyn Kidd

Whitetail Club Director: Jocelyn Kidd, CCM

With over 15 years of experience within the hospitality and private communities sector, Jocelyn Kidd brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Club Director at Whitetail Club. In her role, Kidd oversees Whitetail Club’s daily operations, programming, events, sales, membership marketing, and communications.

Under Kidd’s leadership, Whitetail Club has expanded its facilities with the addition of the 17,000 square foot lakefront Clubhouse, Cart Barn and Golf Practice Facility, Mountain Bike & Nordic Trail Systems, and the coordination of 70+ member events annually. The club was also named into the 2020-2021 and 2021-22 Platinum Clubs of America list of Top 150 Country Clubs.

Currently, Kidd is involved with several community organizations, such as the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), and actively serves as secretary and treasurer for the Whitetail Property Owner’s Association.

As a native of the Pacific Northwest, Jocelyn enjoys the wonders of McCall, Idaho. In her downtime, you can find her mountain biking, golfing, motorbiking, and paddle boarding alongside her husband and dog, Grace.

Head Golf Professional: Phil Goodson

Phil Goodson has worked in the private community and golf industry for over fifteen years. As the Head Golf Professional, Goodson oversees the club’s daily golf operations, programs, and tournaments.

A fourth-generation Idahoan, Phil attended the University of Idaho, where he majored in political science. Shortly after, Phil’s grandfather encouraged him to attend the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, California, where he received a specialized degree in professional golf management. Today, Phil is among the 10% of golf professionals worldwide who have received their Professional Golf Association (PGA) certification. He’s also involved in the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).

When away from the fairways, Phil – an avid adventurer, enjoys venturing into the backcountry with his wife and two children. From snowmobiling to skiing to fly fishing, you can find Phil enjoying the true wonders of the nature surrounding McCall, Idaho.

Joey Snyder

Real Estate Sales Executive: Joey Snyder

Joey Snyder is the Real Estate Sales Executive at Whitetail Club. Prior to this position, Snyder was a prominent PGA Tour professional golfer. Hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, Snyder played college golf for Arizona State University, becoming a two-time All-American. In 1996, he went on to win the coveted Porter Cup and the NCAA Championship at The Honors Course in Chattanooga, TN.

His extensive experience playing across some of the world’s most opulent private communities has equipped Joey with a thorough understanding of Whitetail Club’s stand-out amenities and world-class mountain and lake view properties. In his role, Snyder is most motivated by offering families a lifestyle that seamlessly combines mountain luxury and relaxation in McCall, Idaho. The town’s exclusivity and level of privacy continue to appeal to Snyder’s clientele, and he’s proud to offer a product that provides sprawling homesites where private mountain community life and nature meet.

Snyder holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Arizona State University. When not on the property at Whitetail Club, Joey can be found with his family – spending time with daughters, Sophie and Caroline, or being a supportive husband to his wife, Dana, a Wish Manager at Make-A-Wish.
