Dan’s a true Idahoan. Although he has traveled around the world, sometimes piloting his own adventures, McCall is where he and his family call home. With a strong familial lineage dating back decades in McCall and the surrounding area, his memories of growing up on the lake and in the mountains is an upbringing he has extended to his two kids, Elizabeth and Andy.

McCall’s location and mountain-lake landscape afford Dan a lifestyle of outdoor pursuits including flying to Idaho’s famed backcountry, fishing, camping, bird hunting and spending time on Payette Lake water skiing, boating, and surfing. And wherever Dan goes, you’ll be sure to see his black lab Bandit in tow. In addition to engaging in the outdoors, Dan is an active member of the McCall community, having served on the McCall Donnelly Education Foundation and Idaho’s Aeronautics Advisory Board.

His academic pursuits include earning a B.Sc. in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and completing his executive education at Georgia Tech and Cornell University. His career path reflects diverse experiences, from his tenure as President and CEO of McCall Aviation, where he specialized in backcountry flights across the Western region, to his pivotal roles in multinational corporations such as Viewlocity and Starbucks Coffee Company. Dan’s expertise also consists of business development, strategic planning, and logistical planning.

His interest in real estate and, more specifically, development and planning began in 2010 during his time as President and General Manager of Whitetail Club and Shore Lodge, overseeing all facets of the hotel, spa, and private club while managing luxury real estate development, and sales for Whitetail Club. This role gives Dan intimate knowledge of the members’ experience, from the diverse offering of amenities and facilities to the 72+ annual events, ranging from signature golf tournaments, unique culinary experiences, summer concerts, and off-site adventures, like the annual ATV camping trip.

During his tenure in that role, he was actively involved in the growth of Phases 1 and 2, and now in the new position as the licensed real estate Broker for Whitetail Club Realty, he will oversee the rollout and sale of Phase 3, Legacy Ranch. This new project will offer a unique opportunity for larger, sprawling estates, something members and prospects have been seeking.

Dan’s background in business, hospitality, luxury real estate, and private communities, combined with his authentic appreciation and love for life in McCall and Whitetail Club, offers homebuyers and the real estate team a wealth of knowledge required when making real estate investments.

Joey joined Whitetail Club in 2018 after a career as a prominent PGA Tour professional golfer. Hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, Joey played college golf for Arizona State University, becoming a two-time All-American. In 1996, he won the coveted Porter Cup and the NCAA Championship at The Honors Course in Chattanooga, TN.

When not golfing or practicing in The Studio, Joey enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Sophie and Caroline, and his wife, Dana – who is a Wish Manager at the Make-A-Wish foundation. Since relocating to McCall, the Snyder family has loved every aspect of McCall living.

Joey holds a B.Sc. in Business Management from Arizona State University, but it’s his extensive experience playing across some of the world’s most opulent private communities that have equipped Joey with a thorough understanding of Whitetail Club’s stand-out amenities, including the facilities, programming, and tournaments offered to golfers.

In his role, Joey is most motivated by offering families a lifestyle that seamlessly combines mountain luxury and relaxation in McCall, Idaho. The exclusivity and privacy of the town continue to appeal to Joey’s clients. He is proud to offer various living opportunities in a private mountain community where nature meets luxury.

Steve Drain – a Montana native, has built his career working across destination real estate projects in Colorado, Idaho, and Arizona. His expertise extends from working ranches to ski resorts and golf communities. But for Steve, the mountain-lake town of McCall, Idaho, and the surrounding National Forest is where he feels most at home. He and his wife, Rita, are excited to be back in McCall, the place they love, to raise their three kids and be closer to family in Boise.

Steve attended Northern Arizona University before embarking on an expansive career in real estate. Recently appointed as a Real Estate Sales Executive at Whitetail Club, he brings to this role a wealth of experience that spans nearly two decades, including a financial background in home mortgages and home inspections. Also equipped with a broker’s license, Steve’s expertise underscores his commitment and a keen eye for top-notch service.

One aspect he’s most looking forward to at Whitetail Club is engaging with the membership and the larger community and building relationships with prospective home buyers. As a Rocky Mountain native with experiences all over the West, Steve calls McCall home and looks forward to making great connections and showcasing all that Whitetail Club has to offer.

Nancye was born and raised in Idaho’s Southeast region and resides in the quaint enclave of New Meadows. True to her Idaho roots, her pastimes include fishing, gardening, and foraging for morel mushrooms, which are just some of the unique aspects of the McCall region. When not in the office, Nancye and her husband Jacques spend time outdoors, no matter the season.

In the office, Nancye administers each transaction from beginning to end, drafting purchase-to-sale agreements, and managing all listings, among other administrative support tasks. Before transitioning to the real estate sector, LaFay spent a commendable 16 years in the banking industry, specializing in personal banking, auto loans, and home equity loans as well as earning a Paralegal Certificate from the National Academy for Paralegal Studies. Yet, her genuine affinity for teamwork is what truly sets her apart – a sentiment echoed by colleagues who value her work ethic, camaraderie, and positivity.

Nancye’s favorite part of her job is the team she works with, and she takes great pride in working behind the scenes to ensure clients have what they need. Over her 5-year tenure at Whitetail Club and her lifetime in Idaho, Nancye loves seeing families discover McCall and Whitetail Club for the first time and helping them call it home.
