Introducing The Cutwater on Payette Lake

At Whitetail Club, we’re always searching for new ways to enhance our members’ experience. From amenities that simplify life — like the business center at the clubhouse and the C-Store, which allows members to procure household essentials on property — to those designed to enhance it, such as the lakefront clubhouse, 10 miles of private mountain bike trails and an extensive calendar of exciting community events. That being said, as a member of Whitetail Club, you’ll find there’s still plenty to take in beyond our borders. The town of McCall is a treasure trove of scenic, quaint and euphoric adventures, and it’s just added a brand-new culinary experience to its lineup.

McCall’s newest dining sensation can be found on the shores of Payette Lake… and also, right next door to Whitetail Club at Shore Lodge! After much planning and anticipation, we opened the doors to The Cutwater on Payette Lake on June 16. This exciting new restaurant is THE place for friends and families to connect and celebrate life over expertly crafted food and drink. In addition to simply delicious fare, this lakefront restaurant boasts many features that Shore Lodge guests, Whitetail Club members and locals alike can enjoy.

Nestled in the dining room, you will find an expansive 2,000-gallon saltwater fish tank with vibrant coral and colorful tropical fish. Just beyond this eye-catching feature, kids and families will discover The Tank, an analog game room bursting with classic board games, puzzles, a foosball table and shuffleboard table, as well as a few wild cards such as a giant connect four and classic Pac-Man stand up arcade machine to rival the aquatic barrier of the actual fish tank for kids’ attention. The Tank will be a captivating space for kids to hang out and let loose while parents wrap up their meals, or for families to visit for some wholesome fun and competition.

Back at The Cutwater on Payette Lake, guests can enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere of the indoor dining room, or take their meals al fresco in the seasonal patio seating with a spectacular view of the lake. This indoor/outdoor concept is extended to the bar, which is shaking up some of your future favorite cocktails as we speak.

And while the patio dining option is seasonal, The Cutwater on Payette Leke will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner year-round, so no matter which season members spend at Whitetail Club, they’ll always be met with consistent, delicious meals.

Adjacent to The Cutwater on Payette Lake, members will find a brand-new café, proudly serving Starbucks coffee and light, portable treats, so they’ll never have to skip a beat or miss a moment of McCall’s great outdoors on the way to their next great adventure.
