The Beach at Shore Lodge
Payette Lake is nicknamed “The Jewel of McCall” for good reason. A 5,300 acre glacial lake, it’s the sparkling start of many a McCall adventure. There’s trout fishing and swimming in the summer, ice fishing and skating in the winter, and every kind of watersport in between, from canoeing to water skiing to sailing to lake surfing.
A perfect way to enjoy Payette Lake is from the private beach at Shore Lodge. As a member you’ll relax with your toes in the pristine sand and a cool drink in hand. You’ll have a great spot from which to observe all the lake activity — wake boarders, water skiers, kayakers — against the gorgeous backdrop of Ponderosa State Park and the Salmon River Mountains.
