For this accomplished English chef, the journey to the kitchens of Whitetail Club and Shore Lodge has been an inspiring one, filled with passion for the craft of cooking. After attending culinary school at Highbury College, Chef Topple landed an apprenticeship under Brian Turner, one of Britain’s best-known TV chefs. He eventually crossed to pond and took the helm at the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail, Colorado. Then, when the opportunity to move to Idaho arose, he jumped at it. The Chef loves all things local and is a strong advocate of the farm-to-table movement. In his new role, he plans to create seasonal, Idaho-influenced menus that feature a diversity of local ingredients. The level of culinary artistry that Chef Topple brings to Whitetail Club and Shore Lodge will go a long way toward putting McCall on the map as a world-class food destination.
