An Idaho native, Dan Scott and his family have called McCall a second home for generations. In 2010, he assumed the role of president and general manager of Whitetail Club as well as Shore Lodge, the iconic 77-suite lakeside resort and eventually The Cove, a luxury spa that opened in 2011. Scott is currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel, spa and club operations. He also manages real estate development and sales at Whitetail Club, including more than 250 custom home sites and built product ranging from cabins to estate homes.
An avid pilot, Scott spent eight years as president and chief executive officer of McCall Aviation, an air charter and fixed-base operator specializing in backcountry flights throughout the Western U.S. Prior to his work in Idaho, he served as the vice president of Asia Pacific operations for Viewlocity, a multi-million dollar software and services firm with regional headquarters in Singapore. He also worked as the director of international strategic planning and business development for Starbucks Coffee Company as well as a senior manager for Accenture (formally Andersen Consulting), a global management consulting company where he specialized in supply chain management.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and has completed executive education at Georgia Tech and Cornell University. He currently serves as a director of the McCall Donnelly Education Foundation, as a governor appointed member of the Aeronautics Advisory Board for the state of Idaho as well as board memberships of various other non-profit organizations.
Though fairly new to her position of Club Director, Jocelyn is no stranger to Whitetail Club as she formerly served as the director of sales and marketing for Whitetail Club, Shore Lodge and The Cove spa. Jocelyn is responsible for all club operations, member relations and membership sales.
Jocelyn has spent her entire career in hospitality, with a focus on private club marketing and operations, beginning with the Missoula Golf & Country Club before moving to McCall to take a group sales position at Whitetail Club in 2004. She moved into the director of sales and marketing role where she managed the re-launch of the Shore Lodge brand in 2008 and the addition of The Cove spa in 2011. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jocelyn is a staple in the McCall community. She actively participates in community events and is known by everyone as a shining example of the friendly folks that make their home in our beloved mountain town.
Jocelyn is a year round resident of McCall, spending her free time on the lake, mountain biking or golfing in the summer and in the winter she enjoys back country skiing and snow shoeing with her dogs.
As director of golf for Whitetail Club, Bonfilio is responsible for the management and continued development of the community’s golf program. An accredited PGA member since 1991, he uses training to manage instructional clinics, tournament events and oversee the club’s expert staff while assisting in member development and recruitment.
Prior to joining Whitetail Club, Bonfilio served as general manager of the Rock Creek Cattle Company in Deer Lodge, Montana. In that role, he was responsible for real estate sales and marketing while overseeing all daily department operations for the private club that specializes in golf, accommodations and outdoor pursuits. Previously, he held the director of golf title at Toscana Country Club, in Indian Wells, California, where he worked with Jack Nicklaus to assist in the design and development of the club facilities and programs including the annual Harmon Brother’s Golf School. Before Toscana, Bonfilio served as the head golf professional at The Vintage Club, also in Indian Wells. During his 15 year tenure, he managed the seasonal tournament program which included five weekly events and 12 major annual events alongside regular instruction clinics and daily operations. At the time, Bonfilio was ranked among the top fifty golf instructors in the state of California, served on the board of the Vintage/Arco Senior Tour and worked to enhance prospect development at the now 30-year-old club.
He’s the head golf pro at the Whitetail Golf Club and in 2011, the Rocky Mountain Section of the PGA named him Golf Professional of the Year. Moreover, he has earned multiple certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Mr. Bindner has been published in PGA Magazine and USA Today, and has also appeared on the Golf Channel. Prior to joining Whitetail, Mr. Bindner was the women’s golf coach at Boise State University, and in1993, was named Big Sky Conference Women’s Golf Coach of the Year.
Joe is a 20+ year veteran of luxury club operations and real estate sales, having started his career at the prestigious Piedmont Driving Club, the Marietta Country Club, and then the High Point Country Club. “Working in club operations was an ideal foundation for my real estate sales career,” Joe explains, “because real estate sales at this level is first and foremost about selling the club experience and serving the needs of Whitetail Club community.” Joe went on to lead a team of 10 agents managing 400+ listings at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia, where he negotiated 148 sales contracts totaling in excess of $80 million.
